New CAEZAR single available to stream now!
Joe Donnelly & JJ Gilmour both former members of Scottish band The Silencers and now CAEZAR release their version of One Inch of Heaven from The Silencers 1991 album Dance To The Holy Man.
The Silencers sold over 700,000 albums with two Gold albums in France & Spain also touring with U2, David Bowie , Simple Minds , and The Pretenders .
CAEZAR released their debut album TIME to critical acclaim in 2018 and followed it up with HOME released in February 2024 .
In between albums CAEZAR were invited to open up shows once again for Simple Minds and The Pretenders.
During recent writing sessions for their third album Joe and JJ revisited One Inch Of Heaven and decided to reimagine the song as CAEZAR .

About the video:
The pictures were taken by Hugh Hood, a Glasgow photographer and film maker. The scenes are from Glasgow’s streets in the late 60’s and 70’s, including the river Clyde which is mentioned in the chorus lyrics of the song “the coal dark water” , Jamaica street is also mentioned in the lyrics which is a famous Glasgow landmark. The images depict the joy and struggles of Glasgow’s streets in Hugh’s beautiful photographs.
